Mass Communications

Mass Communications

Mass Communication Tools

The Mass Communication Tools page is the main launch page for sending announcements through email, SMS text messaging, voice broadcasting, and push notifications.

Who this is for

Admins who send large-group messages

This page is for backend users who need to communicate with families, attendees, members, staff, or other saved audiences through TicketHarmony communication tools.

Best used when

You need to choose a communication channel

Use this page when deciding whether to send a newsletter, urgent text alert, voice broadcast, push notification, or when checking whether your mass communication tools are enabled.

Main idea: This page is a communication hub. If your Mass Communications plan is enabled, each card opens the matching module. If it is not enabled, the cards point you toward pricing and unlock information.

How to open Mass Communication Tools

  1. Log in to your TicketHarmony backend account.
  2. Open the Mass Communications area from your backend menu.
  3. Choose the communication channel you want to use.
  4. If your plan is not enabled, follow the unlock/pricing prompt.

Locked vs. enabled access

Enabled

Access Module

If Mass Communications is enabled for your organization, each card will show Access Module. Clicking the card opens the matching communication tool.

Locked

Unlock Feature

If Mass Communications is not enabled, each card will show Unlock Feature. Clicking the card opens pricing or plan information.

Mass Email

Use Mass Email for branded newsletters, announcements, updates, reminders, and longer-form communication.

This is the best option when your message needs formatting, links, images, or a more detailed explanation.

Enabled route: Mass Email / E-News

SMS Text Messaging

Use SMS Text Messaging for short, time-sensitive alerts that need to reach people quickly.

This is best for reminders, schedule changes, pickup alerts, urgent notices, or simple calls to action.

Enabled route: Mass Notify
Phone calls

Voice Broadcasting

Use Voice Broadcasting to send recorded phone messages to a large audience.

This is useful for closures, weather updates, schedule changes, urgent announcements, or audiences that respond better to phone calls.

Enabled route: Calls
App alerts

Push Notifications

Use Push Notifications for real-time alerts inside the TicketHarmony app experience.

This is useful when your audience is already using the app and you want quick, lightweight communication.

Enabled route: Mass Notify

Usage counts

When Mass Communications is enabled, each channel card may show a usage chip such as This year with a count. These counts help you quickly see activity for each communication type.

  • Mass Email: Shows email usage activity.
  • SMS Text Messaging: Shows text messaging usage activity.
  • Voice Broadcasting: Shows phone call / voice broadcast activity.
  • Push Notifications: Shows push notification usage activity.
