Mass Communication Tools
The Mass Communication Tools page is the main launch page for sending announcements through email, SMS text messaging, voice broadcasting, and push notifications.
Admins who send large-group messages
This page is for backend users who need to communicate with families, attendees, members, staff, or other saved audiences through TicketHarmony communication tools.
You need to choose a communication channel
Use this page when deciding whether to send a newsletter, urgent text alert, voice broadcast, push notification, or when checking whether your mass communication tools are enabled.
How to open Mass Communication Tools
- Log in to your TicketHarmony backend account.
- Open the Mass Communications area from your backend menu.
- Choose the communication channel you want to use.
- If your plan is not enabled, follow the unlock/pricing prompt.
Locked vs. enabled access
Access Module
If Mass Communications is enabled for your organization, each card will show Access Module. Clicking the card opens the matching communication tool.
Unlock Feature
If Mass Communications is not enabled, each card will show Unlock Feature. Clicking the card opens pricing or plan information.
Communication channels explained
Mass Email
Use Mass Email for branded newsletters, announcements, updates, reminders, and longer-form communication.
This is the best option when your message needs formatting, links, images, or a more detailed explanation.
Enabled route: Mass Email / E-NewsSMS Text Messaging
Use SMS Text Messaging for short, time-sensitive alerts that need to reach people quickly.
This is best for reminders, schedule changes, pickup alerts, urgent notices, or simple calls to action.
Enabled route: Mass NotifyVoice Broadcasting
Use Voice Broadcasting to send recorded phone messages to a large audience.
This is useful for closures, weather updates, schedule changes, urgent announcements, or audiences that respond better to phone calls.
Enabled route: CallsPush Notifications
Use Push Notifications for real-time alerts inside the TicketHarmony app experience.
This is useful when your audience is already using the app and you want quick, lightweight communication.
Enabled route: Mass NotifyUsage counts
When Mass Communications is enabled, each channel card may show a usage chip such as This year with a count. These counts help you quickly see activity for each communication type.
- Mass Email: Shows email usage activity.
- SMS Text Messaging: Shows text messaging usage activity.
- Voice Broadcasting: Shows phone call / voice broadcast activity.
- Push Notifications: Shows push notification usage activity.
Which channel should I choose?
Use Mass Email
Best for newsletters, program details, links, images, and messages that need more explanation.
Use SMS
Best for quick reminders, simple alerts, pickup notices, or short deadline-driven messages.
Use Voice Broadcasting
Best for recorded announcements, closures, schedule changes, or audiences who may respond better to phone calls.
Custom Websites card
Custom Websites
The Custom Websites section is a contact option for organizations that need a landing page, school site, or other website project.
Clicking this section opens an email inquiry so your organization can start a conversation with TicketHarmony support.
Common issues
I only see Unlock Feature
Your organization does not currently have Mass Communications enabled. Use the pricing/unlock prompt or contact TicketHarmony support to review plan options.
I clicked a card and it opened pricing
That means the module is locked for your organization. The card opens pricing information until Mass Communications is enabled.
I clicked a card and entered the module
That means your Mass Communications features are enabled. You can begin using the selected communication tool.
I do not see usage counts
Usage counts only appear when the Mass Communications module is enabled for your organization.
I am not sure whether to use email, SMS, voice, or push
Use email for detailed messages, SMS for short urgent alerts, voice for recorded phone announcements, and push notifications for app-based real-time alerts.

- Mass Communications may require a paid plan before the tools are available.
- When enabled, cards show Access Module.
- When locked, cards show Unlock Feature and point to pricing information.
